Taxicab rates are set by the City of Ann Arbor as follows:

• The Flag Drop (The Fee to Show Up) is $3.00.
• The Rate per Mile is $3.00.
• Waiting Time is $24.00 per Hour ( 40 cents per minute )

If you want to know approximately what your cab fare will be go to Google Maps or Mapquest and find the mileage of your trip.

Multiply the miles by $3.00 and add $3.00 for the Flag Drop.

This will give you an estimate of the total cab fare. It does not account for traffic conditions which may add to the fare or “esoteric” routes from Google or Mapquest.
